Camira win Major Commendation at environmental awards

We were one of just 12 UK companies to receive formal recognition for our outstanding environmental achievements at the prestigious BCE Awards. The awards celebrate environmental leadership and innovation, recognising businesses which meet the challenging commercial demands of the present, without compromising the environment for future generations. The Camira award highlighted the unique sustainability angle of our ultimate environmental fabric, the now famous Sting Plus, which is made from fibre extracted from the common stinging nettle.
This award was one of the toughest to attain, requiring not just a formal written application, but an on-site audit whose findings were fed back to an independent judging panel. After such a rigorous assessment process it was a real accolade to be chosen as a BCE award finalist among the country's leading environmental achievers. The depth and spread of environmental progress that the awards recognise puts them at the top of the UK's environmental business awards.
